===== The Application cannot be started correctly (0xc000007b) =====

This error happens on Windows computers when your computer tries to use 32-bit libraries when the game is 64-bit.

There are two ways to fix this issue.

==== Quick ====

Navigate to the install folder of the game where GearCity.exe is. In that folder will be a folder called "Redistributables." Copy all the .dll files in that folder, and paste them in the previous folder where GearCity.exe is.


==== Full ====

This method is difficult, as Microsoft likes to get in the way. We recommend doing the quick method unless you have problems with other games on your computer. 

Installation of the Microsoft VC++2013 and VC++2017 64-bit redistributables failed. Please follow the following steps to properly fix this issue:

  * Restart the computer

  * Install VC++2013 and VC++2017 as Administrator. Click [[https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/922708/how-to-use-user-account-control-uac-in-windows-vista|here]] for instructions on how to run as an administrator.
  * Reinstall OpenAL as administrator.
  * Reboot your computer.
