===== Steam Clean Reinstall =====

Steam will not delete user generated files when the user uninstalls the game. This includes settings files, GPU caches, saved GUI, saved games, and much more. If you find yourself in need of space or if you have a configuration issue causing problems with the game, the following is how you do a clean reinstall. 

Please follow these steps exactly:
   - [[Troubleshooting:Steam_InstallFolder|Open the main game folder]].
   - **Optional:** If you want to back up your save games, go into the GearCity folder, and then copy and paste the SaveGame folder to your desktop. Return back to the main folder.
   - Return to Steam, while leaving the folder open.
   - Uninstall the game.
   - When the game is finished uninstalling, delete everything that remains in the main game folder.
   - Reboot the computer

To reinstall and restore your save games, follow these steps: 
   - Reinstall the game.

   - Copy and paste the old save game folder over top of the new save game folder.
